PART 1 Complexities: 1040 and Otherwise I, II and III

Each of these program segments confront the problems that make for complex tax return preparation. Participants consider the un-expectancies encountered from the initial interview with a client to the completion of a return including such issues as:

Each of these segment run for 100 minutes. Two CPE hours of EA credit for each segment for a total of six CPE Hours.

Part 2 Ethical Issues Faced by Federally Regulated Tax Practitioners - R5V43-E-00003-12-I

Federally Regulated Tax Practitioners are frequently confronted, with ethical issues requiring reasonable resolutions such as: Knowledge of client's omissions, diligence as to accuracy of submissions to the IRS, the responsibility for prompt disposition of pending matters, the requirements for returning client's records, the presence of conflicting interests, and the standards with respect to tax return positions, submitted documents, affidavits and other papers. Participants discuss the day to day resolution of these and similar problems using real-world hypotheticals.

The course runs for 100 minutes. Two CPE hours of EA ethics credit.
